HomeMilestones is a pre-release real estate transaction technology platform designed to help home buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals understand transaction progress, responsibilities, milestones, important updates, and what may happen next.

The platform is currently being developed and prepared for beta testing. Features, integrations, and availability may change as development continues.

Depending on how you use the platform, HomeMilestones may collect information such as:

• Name and contact information.
• Email address and account information.
• Transaction-related information entered into the platform.
• Tasks, milestones, dates, statuses, and transaction updates.
• Information about transaction participants and team members.
• Messages, notes, and other information you choose to provide.
• Technical information necessary to operate and secure the service.

Information may be used to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve HomeMilestones and its transaction coordination features.

Examples include:

• Creating and maintaining user accounts.
• Displaying authorized transaction information.
• Helping participants understand transaction progress.
• Showing tasks, milestones, deadlines, and updates.
• Supporting communication between authorized participants.
• Improving the platform and identifying technical problems.
• Protecting the platform against unauthorized access or misuse.

HomeMilestones is designed around authorized collaboration between people involved in the same real estate transaction. Information may therefore be made available to other authorized participants when necessary for the transaction experience.

We may also use third-party technology providers that help us operate the platform, such as authentication, hosting, database, analytics, communication, or integration services. Those providers may process information on behalf of the platform as necessary to provide their services.

We do not intend to sell personal information as a product to third parties.

HomeMilestones may connect with third-party real estate technology platforms to support transaction workflows.

One planned integration is Dotloop. If a user chooses to connect a third-party service, information may be exchanged between HomeMilestones and that service according to the permissions granted by the user and the applicable terms and privacy policies of the third-party service.

HomeMilestones does not control the privacy practices of third-party services. Users should review the privacy policies and terms of those services before connecting their accounts.

HomeMilestones uses third-party application monitoring and security providers, including Sentry, to identify, diagnose, and respond to errors, outages, misuse, and security incidents. When an error occurs, these providers may process limited technical information, such as the affected page, error details, browser or device information, timestamps, network information, and an approximate city, region, or country inferred from the network connection. Approximate location may be inaccurate.

We do not intentionally provide these monitoring services with precise GPS location, street addresses, passwords, authentication tokens, document contents, transaction messages, or other information unnecessary for monitoring. We use monitoring information only for security, reliability, debugging, and incident response—not advertising, behavioral profiling, or decisions about housing, lending, insurance, eligibility, or transaction participants.

Access to monitoring information is restricted, retention is limited, and monitoring providers process information on our behalf subject to applicable contractual and privacy obligations.

HomeMilestones is being designed to help users understand and track transaction document activity. The platform is not intended to replace specialized transaction-management, electronic signature, or document-storage services when those services are required.

During the pre-release beta period, users should not upload highly sensitive financial, legal, identification, or confidential client information unless the platform specifically indicates that the relevant feature is ready for that type of information.

HomeMilestones uses authentication and access controls intended to limit access to transaction information to authorized users.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should notify the platform of suspected unauthorized access.

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction history, support account functionality, comply with applicable obligations, and protect the platform.

Because HomeMilestones is currently in pre-release development, data-retention practices may evolve as the platform moves toward production.

Depending on the features available to you, you may be able to access, update, or request deletion of certain account information.

HomeMilestones is intended for adults participating in real estate transactions and is not designed for children under the age of 13.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as HomeMilestones develops, adds features, introduces integrations, or moves toward a wider beta or production release.

When the policy changes, the effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated.
